Sex Therapy which is also known as psycho-sexual therapy can help you deal with problems in your sex life or just help you spice things up again. We can help you with a wide variety of issues around your intimacy with your partner.
Sex therapy has been around for over 50 years and has a proven success record. All of our therapists are highly trained in all physical, emotional and psychological aspects of intimacy and over 90% of our clients say we have significantly improved their sex lives.
We know talking about such things can be tough and is a daunting task for anyone. The first thing our counsellors will do is put you at your easy, so you are more comfortable in talking openly about what you want to resolve.
If you have an issue that is not going away on its own, sex therapy could be just what you need.
People come to Sex Therapy for lots of different reasons. Here are some of the most common:
At the Relationship Therapy Centre we can help with a wide range of issues, including many not listed above. The best way to find out if we can help you is to get in touch.
After booking an appointment, you’ll come in for an initial consultation.
If you’re in a relationship, it’s useful if you come with your partner, as many sexual issues stem from issues present in the relationship itself.
If your counsellor thinks Sex Therapy would be useful, you’ll begin to see your therapist regularly. At the end of each session, they’ll give you some practical exercises to try out in the privacy of your own home.
Everything you say will be entirely confidential and your therapist will do everything they can to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. Although some people find Sex Therapy a little awkward at first, many are surprised at how effective it is.
Relate is a charity and don’t make a profit from the services we provide. We currently charge between £60 and £90 for each counselling session. We are periodically given grants to offer bursaries to those on low incomes.
The best way to find out if we can help you is to get in contact.
Relate cover a wide area from Ludlow in the north west to the Cotswolds in the south east. This means you can have face to face counselling to suit you during the day or evenings if you live anywhere in or around Hereford, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Ross on Wye, Evesham, Broadway, Stow on the Wold, Cheltenham, Gloucester or Stroud. There is also the option to have counselling via webcam.
We know that one size doesn’t fit all, a single solution or approach cannot adequately address the diverse needs or circumstances of different individuals or situations. That is why the best way to find out if we can help is to get in contact, and we can discuss the best strategy for your individual circumstances.
